Just a few more days, then we'll know more!
October 28, 2024:
We're back in the beautiful Rhineland, Momo had two dates, now it's time to keep our fingers crossed!!!

It's going to be exciting...
Momo is in heat and we're currently planning the trip; the ferry is booked! We're off to Wales next week, fingers crossed!
We are planning our B litter!
Depending on Momo's heat cycle, we are planning to breed her this autumn/winter 2024, so we hope to welcome a litter in spring 2025. Our journey will take us back to beautiful Wales, and we are delighted that Maggie and Jerry Stephens agree with us that the puppies of the A-litter are so wonderful and magnificent!
The stud dog Brightmeadow Never Say Die, also known as Tarzan, has now broken all show records in England and has a own page (Please open the link: it's worth it!) on the homepage of the English Curly Coated Retriever Club.
Our Momo is now a German Champion VDH, German Champion DRC, Luxembourg Champion, German Winner 21, Belgian Winner 23, Alpine Winner, Spring Winner and much more.
The puppy waiting list is now open and inquiries are welcome!
Expectations for the future forever home of our puppies and their humans:
We assume that you have thoroughly considered the implications of acquiring a dog (also with regard to costs: food, veterinarian, equipment, insurance, etc.).
To get a better understanding of where and how our puppies will live in the future, we ask you to tell us openly and honestly about your personal circumstances, including your available time and space, and how you envision living with the dog. We would therefore like to get to know you and the people with whom the puppy will spend its life personally beforehand.
Between the 4th and 8th week of life, we will invite you to visit the puppies, where we will give you lots of valuable information and you will have plenty of time to get to know the puppies.
We, as breeders, will make the decision as to which puppy will move in with you; of course, your preference for a female or male puppy will be taken into account.
Why are we making this decision?
Quite simply: we know the puppies very well, keep track of all their developmental stages, and also consult with external experts from the DRC during the litter inspection about their respective characteristics, so we can choose the dog that ultimately suits you best.
And I assure you, every single one of these puppies is simply gorgeous!
Everyone who is ready to get involved is welcome at Ode to Joy - Curly-Coated Retriever!
We look forward to seeing you!
